Ben Wilson serves as the Senior Vice President of LFB Ventures and is based at the corporate headquarters in Encinitas, CA.

In 2018, Ben became the first addition to the LFB team. Prior to joining LFB, he spent 8 years working with a Real Estate Investment Bank and Family Office as the Director of Lending and Acquisitions. Ben was responsible for originating and funding commercial and residential real estate loans.  He also helped identify value add opportunities and advised on the acquisition of investment properties nationwide. In his career, acting both as lender and in a broker capacity, Ben has originated and closed over $1 Billion in Real Estate Transactions.

Ben received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and International Business. Prior to his graduate studies, Ben completed his undergraduate degree at Truman State University, where he also played 5 years of collegiate football on an athletic scholarship. Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Business Administration, and earned a minor in Spanish, from Truman State.

As a native to San Diego, Ben enjoys spending as much time at the beach as he can with his wife, Candace, and two young children, Colin and Cameron. Ben also enjoys golfing, snowboarding, weightlifting and getting outdoors, taking advantage of everything this beautiful city has to offer. His family also takes pleasure traveling domestically and abroad, and they have an affinity for visiting National Parks around the country.
